Well that took longer than I expected -- but only because Code 46's brief
was so bad, it took quite some time to point out all of the problems.
This is due on Monday; it's nowhere near perfect and I'm going to be
useless as an editor at 0300. So let's swap it around tomorrow and then
get it filed. We'll also need an index and table of authorities, but that
should be pretty easy--I can pretty much cut and paste from the one we used for
the underlying writ appeal petition.
I got really mad rereading the government's brief. How dare they say
we conceded all of those things when we never did?
