Toufeilly FOIA Matters

Immigration:

In the process of amending the FOIA request on the CIS form, I reviewed the instructions. If you have a question about a pending immigration application, the person requesting the info should write to the USCIS office where he applied, or call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283. We need from the client information as to where he filed his petition for citizenship (would that have been in Alexandria?) or he could try the Service Center phone line (we can call on his behalf, but we are probably going to need a written authorization for them to release the info to us- I prepared one just in case and it's attached.) In any case, FOIA is not the procedure for him to use.

FBI File:

See attached draft of a letter to FBI from Mr. Toufeilly. I can send to him for signature and then he can mail out to FBI. Do you have an email address for him? I don't see one in our records. Thanks.
