Clemency letters 5/6

I have 5/6 clemency letters. I'm going to reengage with the President, politely just in case he didn't get my first email.

Doug,

Put together an organized binder that has a table of contents, your letter to the CG for clemency (via your CO and the SJA), these clemency letters, your fitreps, your master brief sheet and your awards and any other relevant material (don't make it to unwieldy).

Once that is assembled, we will make 4 copies of it (1 for me, 1 for CG, 1 for CO, and 1 for SJA).

Then, we will schedule an appointment with the CO, the SJA and finally the CG.

Subject: Letter to SJA to CMC regarding Smith

Gentlemen,

I am attaching a draft letter to Col Ary. It's a very rough draft. I recognize it needs a better introductory section to lay out the facts. I want you to focus on the issues presented. Recommend issues that I missed or how to beef up what we have. Remember I don't have the transcripts so I can't refer to them. I am going to advise Gen Ary to review the audio if possible.

I believe in Karma. Smith was unprofessional in this case. I think this is the beginning of the end for her.

If a NPLOC is an option, then I would recommend that in order to avoid NJP.

Sir,

That is LtCol Rhett Vranish, the CO of MWHS-3. Also, other options lower than CG's NJP include a non punitive letter of caution which would allow him to potentially continue with his career. Thank you again for your time.

Ok...got it. I read the other email first.

I recommend that while lying to a board is conduct unbecoming, in my opinion, a felony conviction is extreme as punishment.

Simply taking Capt Wacker to NJP is just, and I would even recommend that it be lower than CG NJP if that is possible. Who is the next in line beneath Gen Conant on the COC that Capt Wacker works for?

Sir,

I'm following up on the recommendation that you made in open court last week that Capt Wacker's conviction be set aside. Mr. Faraj and I are in the process of putting a package together to present to MajGen Conant to formally ask that Capt Wacker's conviction be set aside and that Capt Wacker not be administratively separated from the Marine Corps. I wanted to give you the opportunity to individually provide MajGen Conant your own clemency recommendation that we can include in our package. While we would prefer a letter, even a quick e-mail back would be appreciated. Thank you for your time, attention, and patience during the trial.

I had sent this email to the other members previously.
