RE: continuance

Ok.  We’re still working on organizing everything you and Andy sent.  I need to read everything and I’ll get back to you on what else I need.  I highly recommend you begin to outline what you would want to say to the Board.  Remember that when people hear others speak about their children, there is suspicion of motive or embellishment, and rightly so.  I find that parents are most effective at sounding objective is when they provide examples that encapsulates the message they intend to express.  For example, you can tell the Board that your son has integrity but it would be better if you provide an example demonstrating his integrity.  Don’t be afraid to speak about YOUR feelings in this matter and what it means to you to have your son serving in the Armed Forces as an officer.

Great.  Thanks for your reply.

I have a couple more emails to send you.  After that, let me know what I can do to help you.  I don't want to be in the way but would like to provide anything I can to aid you.

Thank you,
Tim Corbett
