Re: (Cynowa v. CSSS) New subpoena

You should give him another check but cancel the first one. If you don't find him tomorrow, try him Sunday.

Just got a call from the courthouse that the subpoena is ready for pick up.  We have someone heading over to pick it up right now and I will try to serve it on him tomorrow and will let you know when the task is complete.

A few questions:

1)      We gave him a check the last time he was served, do we need to write another one?  If so, how much?

2)      If he is unavailable this weekend what would you like me to do?

Thanks,

Bethany

Hi Bethany:

I know you know this, but just make sure you let me know when heâs served so I can properly notify opposing counsel of the date and time of the deposition (along with sending me a copy of the served subpoena, etc.).  Thanks.

Bethany:

Attached please find the new subpoena for you to get to the Court on Monday along with the rule that says attorneys are free to issue subpoenas in Illinois.  Make sure you bring enough copies with you.  Also, please remember to get rid of the document request language in the praecipe.  Thanks! Let me know whatâs going on with this on Mondayâ
