Re: Looking for some feedback & direction

Ted,
I'm sorry you haven't heard back. Maj Goode tasked her clerk to fedex the evidence to me last week. As of yesterday morning it was still sitting on the clerk's desk. She promised it would go out yesterday. I haven't read anything yet.

Anyway, can I assume you're both pouring through the Govt's Evidence, and finding nothing substantial? Would any of my other questions (from Friday's note, below) be considered worthy of conversation?

Please understand that, although I've got the steely-eyed exterior, I'm still kind of shocked, surprised, befuddled that I was charged with Murder, two weeks ago. If I'm seeking too much attention, just tell me.

> Haytham, at DTG 202030UJAN11 you gave me a Homework assignment, to generate a list of potential character witnesses who might provide testimony at the impending UCMJ Article 32 Hearing (and, (...hopefully not) a General Court Martial). I realize it has been over a week; but, locating POC Information for many of these individuals proved to be quite challenging. Regardless, the list is attached to this eMail message, in .PDF format. The list is ten (10) pages long and, covers the entire 'working' length of my service as a Marine Officer. For most character witnesses (C.W.'s), I have included extracts / phrases / snippets (all directly quoted) from Sections I or K of Fitness Reports, which I had received from the specific potential C.W., for the specific period mentioned in the left-most column. You'll notice thirty-four potential C.W.'s listed; unfortunately, there are a few, for whom I have been unable to find POC information.

Although, I certainly do not wish to raise the ire of General Officers by calling them to testify, it seems prudent when considering what a conviction would result in. Perhaps, CENTCOM CG, the ACMC, 2nd MARDIV CG, etc. could produce a DVD, featuring themselves speaking briefly regarding my character and temperament; and, that could subsequently be viewed by the I.O. and/or Judge.?.?
