Dear Mayor and members of the city council: My name is Haytham Faraj. I am the owner of the home at
1888 Avenida Segovia, Oceanside, CA 92056, in the Rancho Del Oro subdivision. I
am writing to voice my grave concern regarding your decision to remove the
street lights from my neighborhood in Rancho Del Oro. I have been in the
neighborhood since 1997. I am shocked that you have decided to violate the “Street
Maintenance Agreement” between the city and the Master Association which
requires that the city continue to maintain the street lights in exchange for
the benefit of our tax receipts and the initial installation of the street
lights. I encourage you reconsider your decision and to honor the
