RE: Missed your call



I knew there was a tactic I was missing…open ended questions.  Why didn’t I think of that? And here I thought the only way to ask questions of a witness in an interview before trial is by leading the witness.  Fuck me. I learn something new every day.

This is the reply I got from Charlie when I told him we'd ask any questions the Judges wanted asked if they gave us a list.  Had told Judge Sullivan in an earlier email that we weren't inviting them to the interview.  Nice to get practice tips from a master, huh?

OK.  But as I told Judge Freeh, I think my tactic would be to ask open ended questions that would allow DM to spin a new version of events.
