Re: Great Aloha Run results

Hi,

Lindsey's email address is: Lindsey.Strickler@gmail.com. Feel free to give Elizabeth mine, too. What a stinky way to start their first year! Welcome to the adventure, huh? :-)

Jay's going to be in DC March 1-5 for a meeting. If y'all are around, he'd love to see you.

I actually had to put a jacket on tonight. It was chilly!

Later,
Pam

Hey Pam!  Me too.  Air Force is great -- adventures you can't get anywhere else!  The world is yours because of what you've experienced!

BTW: Neal and I go to a young really fabulous gal (about Lindsey's age) who just married a Marine Reserve NCO last summer (Jun).  He's deployed until July this year (yep her first Married Christmas without him).  She's always a positive person and happy, always.  She's thinking about a trip to Hawaii (where she's never been) as his homecoming vacation.  Can I hook her up with Lindsey as a contact to get her info for a trip next summer?  If so, please send Lindsey's Email and I'll get it to Elizabeth.  She's a wonderful, wonderful person and her Marine - Stephen is a great guy.  Thanks!!!!

I'm still thinking about the nutrition thing.  And we aren't doing much about it right now... I've got a contact for a former economist who had stomach troubles and doctors who couldn't fix it.  So she got educated and now is a nutritionist.

How's the training for the next race?

Thanks!

Anything I can do to help you? I'm finishing up that university professor application this afternoon so I can get that turned in...

All is well here. I've decided to NOT be negative or cynical about the Air force, and that has helped my overlook outlook incredibly. There are WAY too many things to be grateful for and positive about, and too many wonderful people we've been able to meet because of it! Random thought, I know, but I wanted to share it anyway. :-)

Have a great evening!
Pam

WOW!!! That's fabulous!  You did great.  That's so much better than I could ever do.  Congrats!  I'm trying to catch up and the whole business expansion thing is kicking my butt.  Hope all is well with you guys!

Here are my race day results from the Great Aloha Run (8.1 miles). Jay's a great coach!!!!! (Although he informed that I'm a hard student!!! He stayed with me to the end and dragged me across the finish line! He was very patient and kept me going! Now that it's over, I'm glad I asked him to coach me and that he held me to it! (Maybe I'll do another one...)
