As you know, I am a first year student at Georgetown Law and a former Navy SEAL. I am writing to express my interest in working with your office this summer as a volunteer intern.
I first heard of your law firm when you represented SO2 McCabe in his court martial. I was impressed with the vast array of legal services that you offer to current and former members of the military and their families. Working at your office would afford me a great opportunity to gain experience in a number of practice areas while serving members of our military. While I am most interested in helping with the defense of SO2 McCabe, I hope that his trial has been resolved by this summer and I remain interested in the opportunity to work with your firm.
