After much reflection and an additional discussion with Debra I will not pop smoke until I am ready. What this means is I will not disclose to Mat my intention to leave and will assist in his hiring effort. I will then put in notice at the end of the week. Debra has dinner tomorrow night. We both feel she will be able to get though the dinner but understand that there is a possibility that things could go bad. If they do go bad it doesn't make sense for me to hang back unless someone thinks otherwise. Events and required actions will therefore be dictated by dinner. Updates will be provided as they become available.
