RE: need to get a newsletter out soon
Good afternoon,
Thanks for the morale boost. The last one did go out last May (see attachment). I am shooting for the same time frame this year, but frankly I am still scrambling for some content. On that note, Neal may I assume you will be writing a "Comments from the Chair" piece?
Just out of curiosity, what is this person expecting for her $20?
R,

"Chris, Chris, he's our man, if he can't answer, nobody can!" I think we should find out from Chris and then you can let her know, since she contacted you. We did decide to switch to electronic this year, I believe, after running down any possible objections. Do we know if she got one last year? Do we have her email address to send the electronic one this year?
I can reply to her if you think that's what she needs. But Chris will have the up to date scoop.

Hi,
Sorry to change the subject, but I just heard from an unhappy member...they haven't received a publication from us and they pay Section dues.....etc......I told her I thought the last one was May 2009, does that sound right to you?
I told her that the Section normally does one newsletter per year, but you know, if we went to an electronic version of the newsletter, we could send them out more frequently...should I ask Chris about the status of the newsletter or it might mean more if it comes from you...what do you think?

Chris,
I found out from our publications dept. that the mailing was sent out early
last week. It goes by slow mule apparently ( bulk rate) so you should be
getting it any day now! I confirmed that they used the correct mailing
address and list, and I'm sorry for the delay, it's just how they send out
publications.
Will send other file to you later, got to run out now, but have merged it,
just need to clean it up and I'll send it to you after I get back.

The mailing was sent early last week. The address used for Chris Dunne was
2782 Melchester Drive on the mailing list used for the newsletters. Ned, do
you still have the leftover newsletters that came back with you?

Hi Madonna,
I just spoke with Chris Dunne, who is the co-editor of the military law
newsletter and he has never gotten a copy of the latest issue in the mail. I
confirmed that we have his correct mailing address and Ned brought extra
copies of the newsletter with him on May 15th to their Seminar. So, I thought
they had just been mailed ... can you please check and make sure that they did
go out in the mail and that his name was on the mailing list that was used?
Thanks!
