Re: need to get a newsletter out soon

Sure, dude.  Can you send me a couple of past ones?  Morale boost.  You're funny.  Can you believe that?  Doesn't she realize that her $20 goes to allowing us all to get out of the office and go see each other and have a little fun a few times a year?  Shouldn't that be enough for her?

Good afternoon,

Thanks for the morale boost.  The last one did go out last May (see attachment).  I am shooting for the same time frame this year, but frankly I am still scrambling for some content.  On that note, Neal may I assume you will be writing a "Comments from the Chair" piece?

Just out of curiosity, what is this person expecting for her $20?

"Chris, Chris, he's our man, if he can't answer, nobody can!"  I think we should find out from Chris and then you can let her know, since she contacted you.  We did decide to switch to electronic this year, I believe, after running down any possible objections.  Do we know if she got one last year?  Do we have her email address to send the electronic one this year?
I can reply to her if you think that's what she needs.  But Chris will have the up to date scoop.

Hi,

Sorry to change the subject, but I just heard from an unhappy member...they haven't received a publication from us and they pay Section dues.....etc......I told her I thought the last one was May 2009, does that sound right to you?

I told her that the Section normally does one newsletter per year, but you know, if we went to an electronic version of the newsletter, we could send them out more frequently...should I ask Chris about the status of the newsletter or it might mean more if it comes from you...what do you think?
