7.5 – The Standing Committee on Legal Ethics is seeking public
comment on proposed amendments to Rules 7.1 – 7.5 of the Rules of Professional
Conduct. Comments due April 14.
Rule
amendments approved – Paragraph 10, Rules 1.9 and
1.11, and Rule 1.7
Criminal
Law Seminar replays scheduled – VaCLE has added two dates to the video
replay schedule, in part to accommodate attorneys who were registered for
the cancelled Feb. 5 Charlottesville session.
Nominations
sought for Special Board and Committee vacancies – Vacancies to be
filled by Council in June, with terms beginning July 1, 2010.
Indigent
Defense – The Indigent Criminal Defense Seminar: Advanced Skills
for the Experienced Practitioner, will take place April 9 in Richmond, with live
Webcasts in Wytheville and Weyers Cave. Register
now.
Midyear Legal
Seminar deadline approaching – The Midyear Legal Seminar is
scheduled for November 4-12 in Buenos Aires. Registration deadline is
April 15.

Highlights – From its meeting on February 27 in Richmond.
