Ms. Waldman,

My schedule would allow for it and I have family in the area, but I simply cannot take on the expense of a plane ticket at the moment.  Otherwise I would be honored.

However, my legal counsel and close friend, Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Neal Puckett, will be able to attend and speak in my stead.  He is the same counsel you have seen and heard referenced in the Navy SEAL, SWO McCabe’s case.  He lives in Alexandria.  I will pass him my talking points to add to his.

I am honored that you would consider our cause, though it is the cause of all those currently and about to deploy.  I have so many things to say about our current set of ROE in both Afghanistan and Iraq.  Afghanistan is all the more urgent because of this NATO induced ninety-six hour rule.  Thank you for fighting the good fight.
