Yes, I think they will do a rehearing, based on a cryptic email I got from the SJA over in Okinawa who said the CA "may" be amenable to a SILT.  Unfortunately for the poor TC who catches this case, unless they'll approve that with a general discharge, it ain't happenin'.  I'd be delighted to retry this case case.  No way he gets a BCD on the newly discovered fact of his confirmed diagnosis of schizophrenia.  Thanks for the advance copy!  You're a gem!

Code 40 is receipt of the original record of trial and the NMCCA Order in the case of San K. Sezginalp - NMCCA 200800871, in which the NMCCA set aside and dismissed the findings and approved sentence. The NMCCA authorized a rehearing in the case. The special court-martial in U.S. v Sezginalp was convened by the Commanding Officer, Marine Wing Support Group 17, 1st MAW, Okinawa, Japan.

The record of trial and the NMCCA decision are forwarded this date to Code 40 Mandates for action.
