Bob: Reduction to Private. No Brig Time
        and No Forfeiture of Pay.

It will be interesting to see what
type of discharge he will be given.
I am hoping for an Honorable or
       a General Discharge Under Honorable
       Conditions.

I have NO faith, trust or confidence
in the "Powers to Be" out here anymore.
They talk with a "forked tongue". Say
one thing and "Slap it to you".

Bob is a retired Colonel, USMC.
He was a Marine Infantry Officer
in RVN and later retired as a Marine
JAG Officer.. His Dad was our Co XO
in E/2/7 in Korea. He is also a retired
Colonel, USMC. His Dad is Tim O'Reilly.

Capt Greenlaw,
Thank you, Sir. I wrote it, I said it and I MEANT it. Frank Wuterich
represents the best this country has to offer and deserved nothing less.
I
was inspired by his insistence that he take responsibility for all that
his
Marines did or failed to do that day. He refused to have it any other
way.
Thank you for never wavering in your support for Frank.
Semper fi,
Neal Puckett

Marcy: The sentencing argument was the
greatest I have ever heard. My hat
is off to LtCol Puckett and Major
          Faraj.

I'm not too happy with the Judge's
final decision, but obviously he has
never been faced with a combat
          situation like SSgt Wuterich was.
That, coupled with a lack of moral
courage, on the Judge's part, resulted
in the sentence SSgt Wuterich rec'd.
