Thank you for your response. 1400 Pacific is perfect. I will send teleconference info shortly. I wish to discuss the following areas:
1. What did the government speak to him about
2. What did he brief his platoon and specifically his squad leaders regarding Haditha, enemy TTPs and what was his commander’s intent on November 19?
3. He walked through the houses and reported exactly what he saw to higher. What was the first indication from his superiors that the events of November 19 were being investigated?
4. Why does he think no one thought it was a crime before then?
5. Why does he believe SSgt Wuterich was promoted when he –Lt Kallop- accurately reported everything that occurred that day?
6. What does the command “clear South” mean?
7. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being a benign environment, 10 being a high intensity combat environment, how would he rate November 19?
8. Has he ever heard of declaring a structure hostile? If so what were units or commanders authorized to do to hostile structures according to the ROEs on or before November 19?
9. What is his opinion of SSgt Wuterich: GMC, truthfulness and law abidingness
10. Would he serve with him in combat again?

Yes, to your request: Will Kallop has agreed to a telephonic interview at 1700 EST (1400 PST) tomorrow 4 January 2012. You will have to set up a conference call as Will is on the East Coast, Dick McNeil (the other counsel for Will) is in North Carolina and I am in Carlsbad. As has been the practice in the past, both defense counsel will be on the phone while the interview is ongoing.
Please confirm that this time will work for you and send the conference call info in a reply email to my attention.
Noting there is a hell of a lot of info re the case, it would be helpful to provide some sense of the areas you consider to be of importance.
Let me know re your avaialbility at the appointed time ASAP. The conference call info can be sent later.

In the course of our back and forth of the past few days, I neglected to ask you whether the defense team wants to talk to Will Kallop prior to the trial. The government will telephonically interview him on the 28th of December.
Please let me know your druthers.
