We will focus on Reentry, Sentencing, White Collar Crime and The Criminal Justice Educators Colloquium. The Reentry Track will feature three areas of concern to practitioners.  Juvenile re-entry, which will explore the latest developments in this area; re-entry and public health issues and the problems that are encountered when incarcerated persons are released back into their communities; and a survey of best practices that federal and local re-entry agencies use to overcome barriers in obtaining housing, employment and other services for ex-offenders will be covered in the Reentry Track:  http://www.americanbar.org/content/dam/aba/events/criminal_justice/2011fall_reentry.pdf

 

On October 27th,we begin in the afternoon with the White Collar Crime (WCC) Town Hall Meeting and the Legal Educators Colloquium Research Round Table. The reception following on October 27th is a $75 ticketed event priced at $50 for those registering for the whole conference.  The WCC Town Hall and Legal Educators Colloquium will precede a reception at The Liaison Hotel that features cuisine by Food Network Channel Chef Art Smith.
