Haytham - Here is some more significant and up-to-date information, concerning pending SJA actions: -The attachments represent eMail traffic, which has circulated over the past two days (Sunday & Monday). However, the important paragraphs are right here ('Cut & Pasted' from Msg sent DTG 12 0848U JUL 10 by LtCol D.J. Erickson, USMC) "The LSSS has the RLS and have not preferred charges yet. The current status of the case would be pending preferral of charges. The hold up seems to be the NCIS investigation itself. MFP submitted the RLS but the LSSS has not preferred because NCIS has not completed the investigation for LSSS to base charges on. The NCIS investigation is expected to be at the LSSS this week... I will stay engaged and let everyone know when charges are preferred. I have discussed the issue with the LSSS OIC, the timeline of this thing so far, and the Commander's concern with the Major being literally on hold for the last year. He understands and will ensure prompt action when they receive the NCIS investigation. v/r LtCol E." -Haytham, what is "RLS" ?? -Ted

I'm basically O.K. LtCol Wright is taking great care of me, and I sincerely appreciate your continuing support. -Something positive concerning this experience -- this experience has re-validated my certitudes regarding the levels of compassion and comradeship, of which Marines are capable. Yourself, my peers, friends, and acquaintances have been resoundingly wonderful, throughout this past year. -Another positive -- being your S4 in I MHG was one of the best experiences of my admittedly short career... The experiences surrounding: a) sourcing equipment for OEF; b) planning redistribution of facilities amongst IMEF/CE; c) the performance of our Marines during the MRX; d) the FSMAO-W inspection; and, e) the embarkation of IMHG & IMEF/CE to OEF are some of the best times I can remember (Notice - I did not include the composition of (61) Fitness Reports, amongst the positives). These experiences all involved Marines working together and doing their jobs enthusiastically. Once again, the hardest things we've ever done is all we ever talk about... Semper Fi. -Ma'am, had you heard that the S4 Marines (in a real-surprise action) presented me with this beautiful Shadow-Box, last week? It's so nice, it's ridiculous... The Engineers made it, in the shop. It's beautiful, very detailed, and it was a total shock... I had never expected some type of gift/memento, for an OIC, and one suspected of heinous crimes, no less...! Incredible... -Very Respectfully, Ted -----Original Message----- From: Reynolds Col Lori E (I MHG FWD CO) [mailto:loretta.reynolds@afg.usmc.mil] Sent: Sunday, July 11, 2010 9:06 To: Card Maj Edward T Cc: Wright LtCol Donald R Subject: FW: Notice and Comment ltr ICO Maj Card Ted, Keep hanging in there on this OK?
