Fwd: Constitution & the Internet Paper

There is plenty of info in this paper to touch on reasons why Google shouldn't give up my emails to the Gov't. If you write a letter on my behalf, quoting U.S. v. Long [the CAAF case], then I think they will have to vet it through their own legal department and may decide to stand up for their consumer and protect privacy rights. Another group to contact is the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) [discussed in the paper] They may be willing to provide a brief to help assert the right to privacy in electronic communications. Just an idea.

Judge McKeown,

Here is the final draft of my paper, Is E-mail Protected? The Government's Use of Delay Tactics to Circumvent the Fourth Amendment: A Case Study of Warshak v. United States. I will also provide a hard copy to the Records Office.

Respectfully submitted,

Doug Wacker
