I
apologize for the mix up of the date and day of our next meeting in my previous
email. The follow up meeting for the Computer Center Fundraising Dinner will be
held next week Tuesday, May 31st, 2011 after the holiday weekend at
6:00pm at the LIBC office. Please schedule for an hour.
Also,
kindly note that this Thursday, May 26th, 2011 at 6:00pm we will
have Chris Kyriacou from
Washington DC visiting us. The intent of his visit and reasoning for meeting with the LIBC
is to discuss the effects of war and poverty in Lebanon and the work of the AMAR
Foundation to counteract them. I have attached his Fall newsletter providing an
outline of their current work. They are seeking to build support for their
health care clinics in Lebanon. They are also deeply interested in learning
more about the Lebanese International Business Council and the concerns of our
community for Lebanon. If you are available on Thursday to meet at the LIBC office, we
welcome you to do so.
