I agree with all regarding the motion. Our efforts are better
spent on challenging a denial. I had a bit of frustration yesterday. I arrived at
the train station to pick up my ticket on the scan track but could not. I
called Amtrak who informed me that both tickets were issued when I picked up my
ticket to go to NY. I only picked up one ticket at the station assuming I
would pick it up before I leave NY. Needless to say I was very frustrated
at myself and Amtrak for not making the process more clear. I had to
purchase another one way ticket rather than waste time arguing. That was
the only low point in an otherwise great trip. I ended up walking from the
after party to my hotel. I went through Times Square which was alive and
pulsing with life. Yesterday I woke up early and went for a long run in
Central Park. There was a race going on and thousands of people.
Running among all those people in such a beautiful place was a

Would like to post some myself! Hope you got home without trouble yesterday. We got in
about 6:30. Metro was backed up due to maintenance but we made it. I agree we should not file the UCI motion. The fact
that you and Radar couldn't find any case law reinforces my inability to
articulate how the inequity between the Sullivan/Gannon team and the
Vokey/Faraj team constituted UCI, absent any evidence of command action to
intentionally force Colby and you off the case. The desire to do that was
probably discussed, but I doubt any action was taken to effect that result.
I think we should send an email on Wed (the motion filing deadline) to
indicate we're not filing, if for no other reason than to allow Jones to adjust
his travel plans for 11-12 Oct. N Neal
