Hi guys, I’d like to ask for some assistance in putting
together a focus group for a case that will be going to trial in January in the
Eastern District of Michigan. My client is an Iraqi-American who is
facing a charge of working as an agent for the Government of Saddam Hussein.
The Government’s entire case is hundreds of seized Iraqi documents only a
few of which mention my client as someone who cooperates with Iraqi agents who
were posing as diplomats in the United States. Even the U.S. Government
was fooled as to their true identities. The other evidence are former
Iraqi Baath party officials who received asylum, parole for the hangman’s
noose, and payments to testify. I believe that my client is genuinely innocent. He
fled Iraq after his life was threatened by Saddam Hussein’s
government. In a strange twist, Saddam’s men are now here working
for the U.S. Government to do what they couldn’t do in Iraq. I know you’re both very busy. I would like to
set it up for the week of October 25. I don’t have a location so I
