Description: Taught by experienced practitioners, this course will
provide basic background and training on security clearance cases and
how to defend security clearance denials and revocations throughout
the federal system, including representation of both employees and
contractors. Discussions will primarily revolve around handling
administrative hearings before the Defense Office of Hearings and
Appeals and written submissions and personal appearances before the

litigation strategies also will be discussed. In addition, faculty
will review past case decisions and potential avenues for exceptions.
