You may recall that you and I spoke previously about Sgt Brito's CAR award.  As I mentioned, I'm trying to help Sgt Brito out on this matter.  I've attached the write ups of Sgt Brito's OIC, CWO2 Rogers.  

I'm informed that this is currently with the regiment's adjutant right now.  Please let me know if you need any further information.  I've cc'd CWO2 Rogers on this as well as Sgt Brito and another former Marine judge advocate that's assisting Sgt Brito on this too.

I have tried to have 1/1 admin resubmit it on more than one occasion, however they don't seem to be doing it. I think and know he should rate it and have the write-up from when I submitted it. Knowing that it was not approved though I'd have to say he doesn't rate to have it on. I can't put it in IAPS only the unit can submit it but here is what I gave them over and over again.

Can you please confirm that Sgt Brito rated the combat action ribbon from when he served with you?  

In that same vain, if he rated it, do you think you could put him in for it via IAPS?  Thank you.
